Good afternoon! Whatta weekend!
Over the weekend my roommates and I held a somewhat informal party for our dear friend’s birthday. He requested that it be cowboy themed, and boy – did we oblige.
Naturally, I had to make an invite – which led me to coming up with this:
I thought it was pretty clever – it’s supposed to represent the west coming back east to Vermont.
We also had my good friend Griffin Crafts open for the band “Cady Ternity” and he crushed it. Cady Ternity also blew the roof off – making for quite a successful inaugural apartment concert.

In other news from this week – I saw the new Oppenheimer and Barbie movies – both were very enjoyable – though I have to say that Barbie felt more culturally relevant.
That being said, I found this video by YouTuber Veritasium to be an excellent exploration of why Oppenheimer is a historical figure worth learning about. Hard to think of another scientist who changed the world so much and lived to see the new world he had created. (Only other I can think of was the German scientist who invented mustard gas.)
