Inktober is a month-long art challenge created by artist Jake Parker in 2009 to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. The challenge has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.
The rules are simple: every day for the month of October, participants create an ink drawing and post it online.
While I’ve participated in Inktober since 2016, I’ve often not posted my drawings and they’ve been lost to time.
