My brother is a welder by trade, and for his birthday, I wanted to do this justice by making him into a comic book character named “Weld-Man”! I pulled a lot of inspiration from comic book covers from the ’70s and ’80s, and obviously a lot of inspiration from Spider-Man.
I tried to sneak as many references into the cover as possible. Remade the old Marvel Comics logo into something a bit more personal. Overall I’m quite pleased with how it came out!
