I’m getting quite close to completing the Proposed States of America project, and I’ve been wondering the best ways to present information. With over 250 states, to anyone without serious geographic knowledge, they’re not going to even really know what to look for.
That’s where the region maps come in: I’m thinking that they can do some of the heavy lifting of grounding each new proposed state. Instead of being thrown random states, you’re now seeing them in greater collections.
Plus, they just look cool and have been fun to make. Really work with the Atlas/Encyclopedia vibe.
Thus, here are the first 6 region pages I’ve designed. In them you’ll see the regions, the national parks and states within, and accompanying descriptions of each state.
