My friend and I have been getting into AI generating songs using the website Suno. It’s been a whole lot of fun and we’ve already made what I believe to be hits like “PISS NEED” and “Ballad of the Del Rey Shamblers”.
Our latest creation – is a song called “Ordnance Wizard” – a song about a mage who uses less than conventional means to destructive magic, such as an RPG-7.
I wrote the lyrics, and then had ChatGPT punch them up a bit. After going through a few iterations of this and doing some custom adjustment, the lyrics were complete. I then put them in Suno and set the genre to “epic, power metal”. After a few more iterations we landed on the fantastic final version.
It was then passed off to Kaeden, where he made a 3D animation based on the song, and then later released this video to go along with the full version:
I have a feeling this wont be the last collaboration between us here.
