I had the wonderful opportunity to create two additional can designs for my good friends at the outstanding Five Point Five Brewing Company in El Segundo, California.
The two designs being for “Bungalow 304” and “Pacific Standard” – two fantastically refreshing beers that I’m quite fond of.
Bungalow 304
This beer is named after the apartment that the brewer and their family previously lived in El Segundo. I had actually visited and stayed in this apartment back in 2016, so I wanted to recapture what it looked like back then. (It’s since been painted a garish white color.)

Pacific Standard
With this beer being their preeminent west coast IPA, they wanted a design that evoked the journey the family has taken to all arrive in LA to brew this fantastic beer. From the Philippines and Massachusetts to SOCAL!
The primary design feature of this one is certainly timezones, and specifically the Pacific Standard Timezone. I also kind of referenced the Indiana Jones travel sequence – too iconic not to.

Which design is your favorite? Now go to Five Point Five and try ’em both!
